selecting of photos pt 2

A week or 2 after choosing of photos, my girl suddenly decided that she really wanted one of the photos that we rejected due to the pushiness of that Hong Kong "trainer". So ensued a flurry of phone calls between the both of us and our bridal shop, consultant and between our consultant and Hong kong to halt the production of the album. Thankfully this time that "trainer" wasn't present and we could work fully with our great wedding consultant Racheal. We ended up selecting another 10 shots for the album and on top of that getting another framed photo due to Racheal feeling bad about the "trainer", although I must add it wasn't her fault at all. Oh and I want to complain that bloody trainer! haha, at the end of the selection we now have 1 wedding portrait and 3 smaller sized photos. Not all bad. I also took the email of the Hong Kong headquarters fully intending to blast out a email regarding their concept of sales..

selection of photos part 1

We arrived in Singapore from Hong kong on the 30th of April then on the 7th of May My Dream Wedding called to inform us that our photos were ready for selection. That was extremely quick of them. Anyway on the 8th of may we went down along with Celest, Lynette and Liling our advisory team. As is typical I ruined many of the photos due to my ugliness haha, fortunately there we a few that weren't too bad. Mostly due to tricks of the light that made me seem more presentable. All in it it would have been a great time, unfortunately their head office sent down a "trainer" to train the Singapore staf on sales tactics. Apparently their idea is to be pushy, one of the reasons we selected My Dream Wedding was that our consultant wasn't pushy, unfortunately she was "out-ranked" by the head quarters staff and could'nt squeeze in a word edge wise. In the end we choose only the 35 photos that was included in the package.

home again, home again, jiggity jig

i'm back from hong kong! 3 weeks ago! haha, after some urging from my lovely wife to be, i've finally decided to update my blog. hong kong was a wonderful experience, the food there was awesome, note we didn't got to no fancy smancy restraurant but ate mostly food from those tea houses in our district, causeway bay. We took practically every type of transport there was, the street trams were so cool, and only HKD2 a trip, we took the bus, cab, star ferry(the night view of the harbour was great) airport express, mtr, speed boat and of course the yacht. The service of the folks from my dream wedding in HK was amazing, although centered mostly on my girl.. I did get a share of the face powder touch ups though haha, mostly due to the fact that our photographer seemed to like the idea of our noses touching, which led to my oily nose rubbing of her powder.
